What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese alternative form of an energy healing treatment that is applied through noninvasive, nonmanipulative gentle touch. In doing so natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands of a Reiki practitioner to the body of the recipient and can rebalance the body.

It’s often used as a complementary therapy that can be implemented alongside all other medical and therapeutic techniques and is accepted widely in hospitals and hospices around the world.

Let’s connect and explore together your reasons for seeking Reiki, setting intentions for the session.

During

Relax for an hour as I lightly place my hands on your body, channeling the universal life energy of Reiki. You may experience deep relaxation, sensations of warmth, tingling or subtle movement of energy during the session. You will receive what you are ready for. Crafted for your individual needs I intuitively blend in elements such as sounds, incense, essential oils or crystals.

After

At first take a few moments to reflect on your experience and any sensations, thoughts, or emotions that arose during the session. I will share the insights and sensations experienced through my hands afterwards.

Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and support the body's natural healing process.

Allow yourself time to rest and integrate the energy shifts that may have occurred during the session. Some people may feel energized, while others may feel sleepy or emotional.

Engage in self-care practices such as taking a relaxing bath, going for a walk in nature, or journaling to further support your healing process.
